Could someone explain to me if what is touted as distributions by MLPs are dividends or return of capital?
What is the difference?
Why does it matter?

10% annualized returns (3.5% dividend) for next decade in XLU. Does that sound reasonable? What am I missing (Mr. Buffett is obviously a big fan of energy Electricity/Energy) going forward.
